Stop Trauma Reactions From Controlling Your Life

How do you react to trauma?

âť“Do you get angry after small inconveniences?
âť“Do you become numb after a confrontation?
❓Do you cry when you’re angry and then become angry for feeling weak?
âť“Do you dissociate when scary things happen around you?
âť“Do you get confused after accidents?

The way our bodies react to trauma is meant to protect us until we’re safely out of the traumatic situation. But… sometimes our bodies get stuck in the cycle of reacting to trauma and end up living in it

Do you feel caught off-guard by trauma reactions?

Trauma comes in many shapes and sizes, from major events like accidents and assaults to daily microtraumas such as arguments, financial stress, and neglect.

Start Healing Now

Our program helps you understand and manage these reactions, ensuring they protect you without taking control.

Our reactions to trauma can be overwhelming and re-traumatizing if we can’t break out of the reaction.

Trauma is stored in the body and not just the mind.

When we become stuck in our trauma reactions, they become a habit - a knee-jerk reaction to any situation.

This isn’t a fun, healthy, or happy way to go through life. Unfortunately, time doesn’t heal all wounds and you won’t necessarily become “unstuck” from your trauma cycle.

Sometimes, we need a little help breaking the cycle…

Let our world-renowned body-based therapists gently guide you to healing your trauma reactions.

Managing Anxiety

Yogic breathing practices like The Roaring Lion, Maha prana activation, Nadi Shodhana, and Bhramari help to manage anxiety by calming the nervous system, reducing stress hormones, and promoting relaxation.

Overcoming Exhaustion Through Deep Relaxation

This Yoga Nidra is a restorative practice that deeply relaxes the body, emotions, and mind, promoting rest and rejuvenation. It helps overcome exhaustion by reducing stress, improving sleep quality, and restoring energy levels.

Confusion To Clarity

In this video, you will find a guide through EFT Tapping. This is a form of self-regulation, which focuses the mind and redirects confused thoughts towards clear ones.

Dealing With Sadness

Feel empowered by using your difficulties and challenges to strengthen rather than weaken you. Use them to tell your story, to help you become the main character in your own life.

Yin Flow To Let Go

Here we will be focusing on a yin yoga flow which is a gentle approach that provides a unique pathway for emotional release. This practice creates a deep sense of introspection, which fosters a harmonious balance between mind and body.

Grounding Techniques For Numbness And Dissociation

Your five senses are a powerful tool to engage with the world in day-to-day actions. Join us as we use our senses to overcome numbness and dissociation.

Emotional dysregulation can be a common experience while you recover from trauma. This activity helps you to incorporate music to help reestablish emotional regulation.

From Stigma To Strength In Trauma Recovery

Understanding the importance of validating your experience and healing journey helps you to combat any judgemental views that may be projected onto you through social stigma. Understanding this stigma empowers you to hold true to your process and not be derailed by misinformation or misunderstanding.

Downloadable Activities

Start The Day The Creative Way

This exercise aims to enhance self-expression and emotional awareness, fostering a therapeutic and healing experience. It helps you tap into your unconscious mind, record and reflect on your emotions and behaviors, and disconnect from potentially harmful media.

Reframe The Trauma Brain

This exercise utilizes Socratic questioning to help challenge irrational or illogical thoughts related to trauma. By capturing and analyzing these thoughts, you can break them down, apply understanding, and reframe them to support a healthier mental narrative.

Emotional Expression

This exercise encourages you to express your emotions related to trauma through abstract painting. By using colors, shapes, and textures, you can non-verbally communicate your feelings, helping to release and process them in a supportive and mindful way.
